About it
The Klipsch Reference Series 5.1 Home Theater Pack is a complete surround sound speaker system comprising a pair of R-625FA floorstanding speakers, an R-52C center channel speaker, a pair of R-41M bookshelf speakers, and a subwoofer. Together these components form a 5.1-channel configuration for home theater use. The R-625FA floorstanding speakers are the front channels, each built around a 6.5-inch woofer and supporting Dolby Atmos audio output for height-channel playback on compatible content. The R-52C center channel speaker sits between the front speakers and carries dialogue and mid-range detail across the soundstage. The R-41M bookshelf speakers handle the surround positions, extending the field of sound to the sides and rear of the listening area. The included subwoofer extends the low-frequency range, adding weight and impact to bass content. The system is rated at 400 watts of maximum output power. The floorstanding and bookshelf speakers are passive and connect to an external amplifier or receiver via speaker wire, while the subwoofer is AC-powered and includes a remote for adjusting its settings. The front channels are designed for floor-standing placement, and the bookshelf surrounds are suited to shelf or stand mounting. The Klipsch Reference Series 5.1 Home Theater Pack is a speaker-only system; it does not include an amplifier or receiver. A compatible AV receiver or amplifier is required to drive the passive speakers and process the surround and Atmos channels.
